- Some of the hyperlinks from one part of a page to another don’t
seem to work.
If you are using
Netscape 6, this browser’s handling of hyperlinks to an anchor
within the same page seems to be erratic—sometimes they work, frequently
they do not, and occasionally a further click on another link seems
to trigger the move to the first anchor! This appears to be one of the
idiosyncrasies of Netscape 6, although we are examining the matter to
see if there is a problem with the coding which causes this failure
in this one browser. On the other hand, if you are using any other browser,
please let us know about
the error as soon as possible, making sure to identify the browser/platform combination you are using, so that we can rectify it.
- When I disable JavaScript, most of the text formatting disappears.
If this is happening in Netscape 4.x, it is expected: CSS support in Netscape 4 is implemented using JavaScript, so disabling JavaScript disables CSS support. This should not happen in any other version 4+ browser.
